ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide clinical education and training within the ward to promote competence of nursing staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Develop, implement and evaluate education programs for staff
• Mentor and support new graduates, students and experienced nurses
• Facilitate orientation and ongoing area competency assessments and monitor compliance to mandatory training
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice standards

A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
