Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role provides clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved nursing care. You’ll plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to groups and individuals to contribute to the development of our nursing workforce, working collaboratively with nursing staff and managers to identify and prioritise individual and unit learning needs.
You will show evidence of advanced clinical nursing skills with demonstrated knowledge and skill using technology appropriate to the Cancer Services clinical area.
As an experienced educator with a sound understanding of learning and assessment principles gained from both experience and education (such as Cert IV in Training and Assessment), you will provide day to day and one-on-one clinical education along with in-services to meet team and individual learning needs, with a focus on new/ inexperienced staff.
