The Clinical Nurse Educator provides support and clinical development/ training to staff while fostering a preceptor/mentor role. The role formulates, coordinates, and evaluates unit based educational programs; assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures. The aim of the position is to use a participation methodology to build:

• The capacity of individuals to deliver safe, evidenced based care, incorporating reflective practice with the aim of continual improvement.
• A patient and family focused culture that supports the NUM and staff to deliver innovative models of care and proactively manage change.
