Description
Scheduling requirements are 4 ten hour shifts (8:00am to 6:30pm) or 5 eight hour shifts (8:00am to 4:30pm). We are also flexible with hours due to orientation, residency program needs, new projects, and will require flexibility of routine scheduled hours. The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner II uses tools, theories, skills and knowledge of nursing professional development (NPD) to improve the practice of staff. The NPD Practitioner functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the NPD specialty. (BLS Instructor, Pediatric Adv. Life Support and Nursing Prof. Development-BC required within 12 months of date of hire.) Education • Bachelor’s Degree (Required) • Master’s Degree Science in Nursing (Preferred) Experience • 5 years Acute Care RN Experience (Required) • 2 years Education/Management experience (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications • PA Registered Nurse License (Required) • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) • BLS Instructor Status Within 1 year (Required) • Pediatric Adv. Life Support Within 1 year (Required) • Nursing Prof Development-BC Within 1 year (Required)
