Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

A unique opportunity exists to join a team promoting quality of life and dignity for those with a life limiting illness as a Clinical Nurse Educator, providing and delivering the clinical education plan within the Specialist Palliative Care team.
The District wide Specialist Palliative Care Service, includes a team of Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers and Medical Officers, this team is supported by Clinical Nurse Consultants, Nurse Practitioner and the Nurse Educator.
This role will plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs for groups or individuals within the team using a variety of modalities. Working collaboratively with the team to identify and prioritise individual and team learning needs.
