As a Clinical Nurse, you will lead a dedicated team of clinical and service staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. Using your strong clinical expertise and critical thinking skills, you will coordinate and deliver care in collaboration with other health professionals, ensuring the best outcomes for residents while making efficient use of resources. You’ll also make an impact by: Coordinating effective assessment, planning, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care and service to residents Assisting the Care Services Manager and Residential Services Manager to ensure cost effective service delivery through effective use and control of organisational resources in meeting resident’s needs Increasing knowledge and skills of staff in the clinical setting including support, direction, and education to newer or less experienced staff Establishing and maintaining communication that facilitates teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration and supports all staff in the provision of care to residents What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: A Bachelor of Nursing qualification A current AHPRA registration Demonstrated commitment to continual professional and personal development Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and the ability to be cross culturally sensitive The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook) Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role including workload management and performance management Good written communication skills including experience in preparing routine documentation related to care notes, preparation of reports and analytical and critical thinking skills Have a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
