Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: ensure completion of all Competency-Based Orientation (CBO) of new staff within stipulated time assess the learning needs of nursing staff and ensure nominations and attendance for continuing educational sessions as per needs develop, plan and conduct specialty-based educational sessions as per educational needs monitor credentialing of nursing staff and nominate them for re-credentialing as per requirements conduct clinical reviews and liaise with nursing regulatory body as per needs supervise and certify the clinical performance of staff and interns participate in establishing standards of care with unit staff and monitor delivery of care according to the set standards such as patient safety, quality of care, healthcare-associated infections, policies, procedures, protocols, and patient-centered care. Qualifications Requirements: You must have: a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school and a valid PNC license certification in ACLS/ BLS, Safe Medication Administration, Intravenous Cannulation and Conscious Sedation at least two years of clinical experience as a nurse proficiency in training staff on skills and provide knowledge expertise in clinical nursing practices and commitment to excellence in nursing practice awareness of current clinical and research literature ability to effective work independently as well as in teams and work under stressful situations willingness to work in shifts, if needed. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
