Applications are invited for the position of:
Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist Radiotherapy.
This is a permanent role working part time 20 hours per week.
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for co-ordinating, managing and leading the development and delivery of nursing services in the Radiotherapy Department.
The primary role of the Clinical Nurse Manager 2/Clinical Nurse Specialist will be one of clinical and professional leadership in the nursing team. They will demonstrate a high level of skill and competency to aid the efficient, effective care and supportive care of patients through the unit, co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the clinical area.
The successful candidate would be expected to play a key role in patient and family education regarding their plan of care, treatment plan and potential side effects and associated management.
