ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who has:

  • At least 5 years in practice, with 2+ years post-registration
  • Proven experience in staff management, leadership, and training
  • Strong clinical standards with a passion for patient care and nursing development
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to balance clinical and managerial priorities

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As our Clinical Nursing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the nursing team and clinical standards at our new Harlow site. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, providing professional, operational and clinical guidance while working closely with our Clinical Director, senior leadership team, and the wider Linnaeus nursing community.
You’ll lead by example, working clinically alongside your team while also ensuring we deliver the highest standards of patient and client care. You’ll also influence the growth and development of the practice, embedding nursing excellence from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the nursing team
  • Maintain an overview of nursing standards across all clinical areas
  • Ensure effective communication and workflow across the practice
  • Support patient care excellence through training, development, and CPD planning
  • Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic and operational decisions
  • Lead on governance, quality, and clinical safety procedures within nursing
  • Manage and support lead nurses, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment
