About us: St James’s Hospital is Ireland’s largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublin’s south inner city. Purpose of the role: The purpose of this role is to deliver specialist nursing care to patients undergoing haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The successful candidate will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing a patient centred quality and seamless service.
St James’s Hospital is the National Centre for adult bone marrow transplantation. The transplantation service forms an integral part of the Haematology Department.
In respect of all issues relating to the clinical care and management of our HSC donors and recipients, the post holder must be aware of their responsibilities in relation to the EU Directive 2004/23/EC.
