Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Manager Care Services, you will act as the focal point for the clinical care of our residents in our Waminda residential facility. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager with experience in a similar setting or alternatively, an experienced Registered Nurse that has significant clinical and leadership experience looking to take the next step in their career. Critical to this role is your inbuilt passion to providing extraordinary quality of care to residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountability for the overall quality of care and standard of practice within the facility, meeting the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Acting as a clinical resource for complex nursing and clinical management issues.
  • Actively promoting and participating in the Quality Activities plan / program for the clinical nursing area.
  • Providing a motivational style of leadership and direction to our care staff and act as a role model and mentor.

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently AHPRA Registration.
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
  • Advance level of skills in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of caregivers.
  • Sounds knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and ANACC.
  • Working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
