Your part in The Wesley Hospital team The Wesley Hospital is an Australian leader in robotic surgery, and we are proud to be accredited as Australia’s first Centre of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (COERS) including Bariatric, Orthopaedic and Cardiac surgeries. The Wesley Hospital is seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee the running of their surgical theatre complex. Leading a large, multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the ongoing delivery and development of procedural services across our 19 Theatres – applying your operational knowledge, leadership capability and communication skills to effectively lead your team to success. You’ll collaborate effectively with other healthcare leaders in the hospital, working together to deliver optimal patient-outcomes through exceptional clinical care. A diverse role, you will: Achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and direction Lead your people including the theatres leadership team through identifying opportunities for development, learning, and improvement. Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your skills to build a high functioning and outcome focused unit Maintain professional standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through key strategies Ensure optimal procurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting to achieve service objectives What makes a difference for us? As an advanced Clinician, you will demonstrate exceptional skills in Perioperative nursing, a passion for people leadership, and strong patient advocacy and costumer focus. You’ll present with: 5 or more years clinical experience within a perioperative environment Experience leading a high functioning multidisciplinary team Ability to lead a team to deliver contemporary, evidence-based patient care Expertise and skills in managing a cost centre budget and people management Advocacy and leadingcontribution towards quality initiatives and improvements Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification / AHPRA Registration Post Graduate Qualification in Clinical Speciality Post Graduate Qualification in Management highly desirable What makes a difference for you?
