  • Relevant registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ post graduate experience in area of speciality.
  • Hold a relevant post graduate qualification or is working towards.
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
  • Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration.

Remuneration: On offer $54.72- $58.82+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4).

Perioperative services at Sunshine Coast University Private hospital offers 6 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and now offers Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will act as a clinical and professional resource within the operating theatres, demonstrating advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Demonstrate highly developed communication skills and a strong patient- and customer-focused approach.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the department operates safely, efficiently, and in line with best practice standards.
