Nurse-patient/family relationship Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and family. May assume the responsibility of relief charge nurse and may assist with preceptorship/professional development of new nurses and students. Demonstrates consistent organization and prioritization of workload; confident management of emergency situations. Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
