Nepean Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our Anaesthesia research team. This position on offer is Temporary Part time until May 2026 and is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of anaesthesia practice while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This role will see you have knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a research team. Your role will see you liaise with Site Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, Medical, Nursing, Allied Health Care, Pathology, Pharmacy. Research staff and other relevant departments/institutions to ensure all aspects of clinical research are conducted in line with individual study protocols and ethical and governance guidelines

Responsibilities
  • Current registration with AHPRA – Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Research and a minimum 3 years post graduate registration working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public health organisation
  • Demonstrated ability in managing research projects including ethics applications, patient enrolment, data collection and management.
  • Proficient computer skills including database management and analysis of data.
  • Demonstrate high level interpersonal, communication and management skills
  • Ability to manage financial factors including invoices and meeting budget requirements for the research activities.
