  • Unit Description: The 18 Bed Family Integrated Care NICU offers a dynamic and supportive work environment dedicated to providing exceptional care for our tiniest patients and their families. Our team-oriented setting fosters collaboration among nurses, specialists, and physicians, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Demonstrate and serve as an expert in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional. Improve clinical and cost outcomes for key patient populations through collaboration with physicians and staff and by participating in strategic initiatives. Assure competent and ethical care of all patients and families. Directs and assists multidisciplinary teams in implementing the nursing process to develop individualized patient care plans based on evidenced-based practice. Enhances the organizational practice of nursing at all levels through improvement of nursing knowledge and skills. Serves as an expert resource in area of specialty, especially for complex patients and their families. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Wisconsin RN license required
  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred or required within five years of hire, BSN required
  • minimum of five years of recent clinical experience in neonatal nursing is required. The ideal candidate should possess proven leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge, and experience in collaborating with inter-disciplinary teams. Additionally, strong program management abilities, including demonstrated leadership and managerial competence are essential.
