Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Wellbeing Nurse Coordinator works within schools to support children and families through the coordination of health care.
In this role, you will be the link between schools and healthcare providers, and assist families and children navigate specialist appointments, health care providers & in-school supports. You will work closely with children who are identified as requiring additional support with their healthcare needs.
You will support selected primary & high schools in Walgett and the surrounding regions. This role also works as a part of the wider wellbeing team across the LHD.
