Responsibilities
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency AHPRA) . Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nursing Unit Manager - Level 1 or Acting Clinical Nursing Unit Manager - Level 1 / Team Leader experience in a critical care environment
  • Demonstrated relevant clinical nursing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing/midwifery staff
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including problem solving, balancing competing demands and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Postgraduate nursing qualifications in management, or working towards same
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster Mornings, Evenings & Nights 7 days week
