Clinical Nurse - Infection Control
Employment Type: Part Time 25.2 hours per week
Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61 p/h + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital
As part of our central Infection Control Team, you will facilitate teamwork and develop strong relationships with your stakeholders – including corporate, clinical, procedural and medical practitioners and leaders - applying quality innovation and compliance standards across the hospital as they relate to infection control, collaborating on improvements across The Wesley.
You will assess and monitor infection control across the hospital, providing consultation on work practices, and assessing and responding appropriately to infection control escalations as they arise. Drawing on your skills as an experienced clinician, you’ll apply best-practice standards that ensure a safe working environment for our employees, whilst promoting optimal patient health and safety.

What makes a difference for us? You’ll present with:

  • Minimum 12 months post graduate experience in Infection Control
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration
  • Post graduate qualification in Infection Control preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and negotiate outcomes that ensure the well-being of our staff and patients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices, including industry-standard infection control principles
