Responsibilities Lead the clinical research team in the administrative and financial management of sponsored clinical research. Oversee administrative start-up of all aspects of the clinical research studies. Develop and negotiate project budget with research sponsor. Track clinical study activities performed, revenue accrued, invoicing, collections, payments received and expenses paid. Participate in development and evaluation of program policies and procedures and facilitates legal review. Assure proposed clinical research study protocols are in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations through review and approval by the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required. Certification specializing in Research Professional credentialed from the Certified Institutional Review Board Professional (CIP) preferred. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
