Inova Neurology Services is looking for a dedicated Clinical Outpatient Supervisor to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Clinical Supervisor Outpatient is responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols. Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum. Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team. Job Responsibilities Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed. Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols. Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum. Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team. Utilizes standards, guidelines, policies, procedures and clinical pathways for delivery of care. Improves clinical operations through utilization of data and the quality process. Actively participates in clinical performance improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Certification - Basic Life Support from American Heart Association- Upon Start Licensure - Licensed Practical Nurse - Upon Start or RN License Experience - 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience as LPN Education - Vocational/Technical School - Nursing or Associate's degree or BSN Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Supervisory experience is a plus.
