Occupational Therapist- what's involved in the role? This is a permanent Part time role and looks after clients living in the Northern Sydney/Beaches Region. Work 2 days per week – your choice between Mon-Fri! This is a fulfilling role where you’ll have the autonomy to structure your day and be provided with a broad and varied caseload. This will include client home visits and group activities across a range of settings (in-home rehabilitation or clinic-based). Deliver person-centred care in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement consistent with the values of HammondCare and the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). As an Occupational Therapist (Part-Time) you’ll be a valued member of our growing Clinical Care & Practice Team, working closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide tailored and individualised services to people within the community. A typical day will involve assessing functional care needs, setting clear care goals, and providing treatment and intervention. What do you need to apply? A tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and practical experience, or sound knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting. This can include inpatient/outpatient, community settings, or both. You’re a strong communicator, and able to plan and manage your time effectively. Enjoy working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and safe driving record to travel between client’s homes and HammondCare locations (travel costs reimbursed).
