JOB SUMMARY

As a Technician for our Clinical Pathology team at the Laval location, you will carry out the analysis of biological specimens.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples;
  • Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on the different instruments;
  • Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to present schedules;
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and health and safety rules.

KEY ELEMENTS

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • DEC or BSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any other related discipline;
  • Experience in centrifugation is mandatory;
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Biochemistry analysis, pipette handling, dilutions, hematology and/or microscopy;
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to adapt to changes.
Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
  • Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary: 20$/hrs;
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime between 8am to 4:15pm. Depending on business needs, you may have to do overtime;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
