Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a high-performing acute care hospital in Panama City, Florida. This is a strong opportunity for a hospital-based pharmacist who wants clinical involvement, schedule variety, and long-term growth within a stable health system. POSITION OVERVIEW The Clinical Pharmacist interprets and verifies medication orders, compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals, monitors drug therapy, and supports hospital-wide clinical pharmacy programs. This role partners closely with providers and care teams to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use across the hospital setting. SCHEDULE • Mixed shift options available • 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM • 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM • Night shift option: 7 on 7 off • Wednesday through Tuesday 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $58.15 to $73.56 based on experience • $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 2 years • Evening differential $3.00 per hour • Night differential $6.00 per hour KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Interpret and verify medication orders accurately and efficiently • Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals safely • Monitor therapy for contraindications, allergies, and drug interactions • Support formulary compliance and rational drug therapy selection • Provide medication information to healthcare staff and patients • Participate in clinical programs including pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, renal dosing, pain management, nutrition support, and IV to PO conversion • Document clinical interventions accurately and completely • Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions appropriately • Support pharmacy operations and overall team workflow WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • Acute care hospital pharmacy experience • Broad clinical pharmacy exposure • Strong compensation with sign-on and shift differentials • Stable hospital system with robust benefits • New grads with strong hospital training may be considered BENEFITS • Health insurance • Dental and vision insurance • Life insurance • Short term and long term disability • Flexible spending accounts • Long-term care coverage • Fertility and family building benefits through Progyny • Counseling and wellness resources • Family support resources including adoption assistance and care support • 401k with 100 percent match on 3 percent to 9 percent of pay based on years of service • Employee stock purchase plan • Education assistance including tuition, student loan, certification support, and dependent scholarships • Paid time off • Paid family leave Requirements REQUIREMENTS • At least 1 year of recent acute hospital pharmacist experience required OR completion of a PGY-1 in a hospital setting • New grad pharmacists with hospital internship experience will be considered • BS or PharmD from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy required • Strong clinical judgment and medication safety focus • Ability to work effectively in acute hospital environment Not ready to formally apply?
