Job Description: Clinical Pharmacist – 32 hours, Day Shift Beverly Hospital | Beth Israel Lahey Health Beverly Hospital is seeking experienced and committed Clinical Pharmacists to join our collaborative and patient‑focused Pharmacy team. Beverly Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and not‑for‑profit community hospital located on the North Shore of Massachusetts. As part of the renowned Beth Israel Lahey Health System, we leverage integrated system resources to deliver high‑quality care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Our services include inpatient maternity and psychiatry care, supporting a diverse and evolving community. The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive services across the Northeast Hospital Corporation, including Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital, BayRidge Hospital, and Beth Israel Lahey Health Care Center–Danvers. Position Overview Clinical Pharmacists ensure the delivery of safe, effective, timely, patient‑centered, and evidence‑based care. Pharmacists are integral members of the interdisciplinary care team and rotate through decentralized and centralized workflows. In this role, you will: Interpret and evaluate medication orders and prescriptions Provide medication expertise in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and care teams Prepare and dispense medications according to hospital policy and applicable laws Supervise and verify the accuracy of work performed by pharmacy technicians and interns Pharmacists at Beverly Hospital actively contribute to quality improvement, safety, and operational initiatives, serve on interdisciplinary committees, and act as liaisons across the organization. All Pharmacy team members are expected to foster collaborative, collegial relationships throughout the department and institution. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: • Knowledge of hospital practice and operations • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to interact constructively with supervisors, peers, and other colleagues • Expertise in clinical knowledge and patient care LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, and/or REGISTRATIONS: • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required EDUCATION: • Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required EXPERIENCE: • Clinical pharmacy experience (2+ years) in a hospital setting and/or completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred. • Exceptional aptitude or knowledge may be considered in lieu of experience. HOURS: • 32 hour Day Shift Pharmacist OTHER: • Free onsite parking is available to all employees. Beverly is accessible via the Commuter Rail. Pay Range: $57.00 - $76.71 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law. Responsibilities
