POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Applicants must hold entry to practice Pharmacy degree from an accredited University (e.g. PharmD, BScPharm)
· Must hold licensure with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and be in good standing
· Successfully able to perform their function in accordance with prescribed standards that focuses on the priority of People Safety and the delivery of the highest standard of Quality Care.
· Demonstrate the physical and mental capabilities necessary for proper and efficient performance of the essential duties of the position.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

· Completion of an accredited Canadian Pharmacy residency (or equivalent) is preferred
· 3+ years of relevant clinical practice experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting
· Completion of specialized cardiovascular pharmacotherapy training or demonstrated expertise in hypertension and heart failure management
· Experience with ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and interpretation
· Familiarity with cardiovascular risk assessment tools and shared decision-making approaches
· Demonstrated experience in research project design, implementation, and analysis is preferred, particularly where outcomes have informed policy, clinical practice, or operational improvements.
