Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist SME Informatics will leverage their expertise in pharmacy and informatics to enhance medication safety, optimize pharmacy workflows, and support clinical decision-making through technology. This role involves investigating medication-related issues, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing educational materials, and managing various administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PharmD or equivalent degree (Required)
- Experience in pharmacy informatics or related field (Required).
- PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics residency (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in using informatics tools and software.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Epic, ServiceNow, Alaris, BD Pyxis systems.
- Experience in educational material preparation and presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification, required. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred.
- Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
