The Department of Pharmacy is recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, Medication Use Policy to improve patient care outcomes by reviewing new medications for formulary inclusion, managing policies, protocols, and guidelines designed to improve the safe, effective, and cost effective use of medications, teaching students and residents on all aspects of medication use policy, supporting pharmacy and therapeutics committee and subcommittee activities, providing health care professional education, and conducting medication use evaluations to ensure compliance with restrictions and other policies.
