The Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP) department within Johnson & Johnson Internal Medicine develops and applies quantitative methodologies (population PK and PKPD analysis, disease progression, etc. across all phases of drug development and across different modalities.
CPP is sponsoring a post-doctoral fellow to train early career professionals who can contribute to our goal of developing innovative medicines. The post-doctoral fellow will work on one or multiple projects to develop and apply novel methodology designed to increase the speed and accuracy of decision making in drug development. Working with scientific mentors, the fellow will expand in-house knowledge and capabilities in pharmacometrics, exposure-response, and related methodology (e.g., deep learning, causal inference).
The post-doctoral fellow is expected to have recently finished their PhD training in a related discipline and seek formal training for a career in clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics. The post-doctoral fellow will work under one or more scientists who will provide mentorship during the 2-year program. While the postdoctoral fellow will contribute scientifically and technically to projects, the program will also help develop their leadership skills and ensure both internal and external visibility to the scientific community via external presentations and publications.
