Responsibilities The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for operational, financial, clinical and quality performance for pharmacy services at a designated site. The Pharmacy Manager provides support and managerial assistance to the Pharmacy Director by managing daily operations in pharmacy services that include: Staffing and scheduling; orientation and on-boarding; education and competency assessment; completing annual reviews; budget monitoring; maintaining and establishing clinical standards; promoting evidence-based practice; and implementing quality measures. The Pharmacy Manager ensures adequate supplies of medication for patient care, and compliance with standard work for all medication dispensing activities. The pharmacy manager ensures the safe and appropriate use and supply of medications to customers. Works collaboratively with administrative, medical, nursing, and support staff of Legacy Health to provide the safe, cost-effective medications and services to customers. Assures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required. Advanced degree preferred. PGY-2 preferred if overseeing a specialty area. Experience: Three year’s work experience related to area of responsibility. Supervisory or management experience required. Skills: Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of personal computer and related business software preferred. : Licensure Current Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) for applicable state required. Pay Range USD $86.07 - USD $129.95 /Hr.
