Position Type: Permanent, Part-time Clinical Pilates Instructor
Bodyhealththerapies is a growing and developing massage and soft tissue therapy company in east London. The plan is to introduce a programme of 1:1 and space for 1:3 Pilate sessions to clients and customers. We see the need to introduce Pilates for clients with ongoing conditions , and clients that participate in physical activity, endurance events and other sports to improve movement and flexibility. Clients that come to bodyhealththerapies has various musculoskeletal concerns and imbalances and we know Pilates can play a vital role in helping their physical fitness , health and improve sporting performance and aid ROM and flexibility and promote improved muscle and body health. We have a small, Area that we are converting to accommodate 1:1 1:3 classes and zoom sessions and Wunda chair and reformer sessions .
Pilates sessions will be on a part time basis first for clients and open to anyone to book through our website. Clients may be referred via the clinic for ongoing management of chronic conditions, and the health benefits of Pilates. All participants will have an initial assessment before a 1:1 session or join a class session of up to 1:3 session
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed, fully qualified and experienced Pilate’s instructor. Experience and/or a passion for working with all populations and help individuals improve and manage their health and fitness with Pilates. The instructor will have experience in rehab/remedial clients is advantageous. This person may be a Physiotherapist that has taught or teaches Pilates .This person will help develop the Pilates programme within the company and want to build and develop Pilates We currently require an instructor for week-day morning, evening and weekend classes

the person must have

• Interest in Pilates (mat and or reformer/equipment) is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching Pilates classes and/or conducting personal training sessions.
• You have at least an NVQ Level 3 Pilates instructor qualification.
• 2 year’s Pilates experience teaching Mat and/or Reformer Pilates
• Experience teaching with Pilates equipment such as, Chair and Ladder Barrel beneficial but not necessary
• Physiotherapist with clinical Pilates experience desirable
• Positive, upbeat and energetic
• clinical Pilates experience
• Collaborative and reliable
• Customer Focused

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Pilates: 2 years (preferred)
