Description

Supervises Student Academic Advisors who provide professional level academic advice to students. Provides technical assistance to subordinates on complex issues such as exceptions to policy, recommendations to change department policy, and precedent-setting actions. Participates with department management in the development and monitoring of policies and procedures for Student Academic Advising. May represent the student academic advising function on committees and other organization entities. The Dean’s Office oversees operations that support the School’s students, faculty, and staff and ensures alignment with the School’s strategic priorities and the broader mission of UCSF.

Responsibilities
