Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Directors, Inpatient Medicine & Orthopedics, Neurosciences, Spine, and HI Site Lead
  • Leading project planning, execution, and management for identified initiatives within the portfolio
  • Conducting detailed clinical impact assessments and mitigating risks associated with project implementation
  • Driving change management and ensuring operational readiness/transition for identified projects
  • Supporting clinical teams to improve service scorecards, performance metrics, and system accountability for inpatient surgical units
  • Overseeing related procurement processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinating and participating in project teams to ensure clinical and leadership approvals are obtained at key stages
  • Ensuring timely progress toward initiative milestones and goals
  • Providing strategic direction and prioritization for initiatives
  • Collaborating on business case development and analyzing project options with the Director and Business Manager
  • Supporting budget stewardship and resource allocation during project planning and implementation
  • Driving improvements to KPIs, such as patient outcomes, wait times, and safety metrics across the portfolio
  • Supporting the planning and development of future phases of the QEII New Generation project as they relate to the portfolio
  • This role requires strong leadership, comprehensive project management expertise, and an ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively to mitigate risks in a complex, multi-site healthcare environment.
