About the opportunity: We are seeking a proactive Clinical Practice Development Partner to join our national clinical leadership team. This newly created role is part of an exciting transformation aimed at enhancing clinical support to our community nurses and education and practice development for our staff across the Home Care Hub's. Working collaboratively with the Clinical Lead-Home Care and the Home Care Operations team, you will: Deliver engaging high-quality training to our staff members aligned to our Healthy Ageing Strategic Education Plan Provide on-site clinical support in areas of risk and lead continuous improvement initiatives Coach and mentor nursing staff to foster a positive high-performance workforce culture Support succession planning and professional growth across our home care hubs This role will manage the training for staff in the NW VIC (Keon Park and Parkville), and provide our nurses with annual supervisory support (based at our VIC hubs in Parkville and Hughesdale). This is a site-based role, however we can offer flexible working arrangements following discussions with your manager. You will have: Knowledge of contemporary learning and development practices Understanding of the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards including legislative regulations Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Understanding of clinical risk and continuous improvement processes Knowledge of systems including incident management and CRM Excellent time management and planning skills Understanding of professional accountability and clinical standards What you’ll bring: Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse Minimum Certificate IV in Assessment and Training, or willingness to obtain one, within the first 12 months Previous experience in clinical education/supervision roles Willingness to undertake the Mercy Health Foundation Improvement Capability program You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: Police check and or NDIS clearance. Responsibilities

This role involves delivering engaging, high-quality training aligned with the strategic education plan and providing on-site clinical support in areas of risk across Home Care Hubs. The partner will also coach and mentor nursing staff to foster a high-performance culture and support succession planning.
