Overview Presbyterian is seeking a Clinical Practice Specialist to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. The Clinical Practice Specialist will act as a liaison between the manager and/or director.Provide operational support for the department and/or clinic. Assists the clinic, or department, leadership with operational efforts as requested; may include project implementation, program outreach, process improvement, and initiative support. May collaborate with clinical informatics to design and support to include (but not limited to): Utilizing the electronic medical record functionality to promote safe, quality patient care, and clinical initiatives related to clinical operations. Provide support for regulatory readiness tracers and surveys. Participate in the design and implementation of Evidence-Based Care initiatives. Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with clinical operations to support development of clinical workflow processes, identify gaps and coordinate solutions. Collaborate with educational resources for development and implementation of clinical training. Partner with clinical and operational departments to remove barriers to change and serve as a liaison to users, IT professionals, and leaders. Attain cross-functional knowledge of the clinical information systems and key workflows in order to provide support and guidance to clinicians, IT professionals and leaders. Performs other functions as required. Qualifications Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Three to five years experience required. Two years experience in an Ambulatory Care setting required.
