Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Clinical Preceptor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Job Role / Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director, Undergrad Nursing Education, you will be responsible for: reviewing clinical objectives and expected outcomes of clinical experience reviewing hospital policies and protocols planning student learning needs and assignments in collaboration with the supervisor demonstrating knowledge, comprehension, and compliance of the community settings, as well as ability to enforce them demonstrating a sincere desire to continually improve and upgrade the skills and knowledge of the students through pre and post conferences assessing the skills and competency of students through direct observation participating in programme planning and evaluation activities related to the clinical aspects participating in the ongoing development of competencies, capabilities, technology and the resources needed to achieve high standards of efficiency and effectiveness encouraging a positive environment and experience for co-workers, students and clients. Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: You should have: at least a BScN degree, with a minimum of two years clinical experience a valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council clinical competence as a professional nurse and an effective role model sound conceptual knowledge of nursing and ability to integrate theory into practice.
