JOB DESCRIPTION
When considering applications for the professorship, the main emphasis will be on the applicant’s ability to document a high level of original scientific work at an international level within the area of tumor immune microenvironment research.
The professorship will focus on pre-clinical research in the field of the tumor immune microenvironment to dissect the importance of individual components of the tumor microenvironment on the activity of immune cells and on the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy. The research should include a focus on in vivo models and the interplay between the extracellular matrix and immune cells in the tumors.
The professor will contribute to pre-graduate and post-graduate teaching in cancer immunology and related fields.
