Department/Unit: Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology Closing Date: Until the position is filled Applicants should have (i) a medical qualification (approved for full or limited registration with the Medical Council of Hong Kong); (ii) training in histopathology (Anatomical Pathology); (iii) a higher qualification [MRCPath, FRCPA, FRCP(C), Diploma of American Board of Pathology (AP), or FHKAM(Pathology)]; (iv) subspecialty experience in Anatomical Pathology; (v) teaching experience in Anatomical Pathology; and (vi) track record of research and publication in Anatomical Pathology and teaching. The appointee will (a) undertake teaching and clinical duties; (b) supervise and coordinate course development for medical education; (c) provide guidance and consultation to trainees in the Department; (d) engage in research activities; and (e) plan and organize professional educational activities. Appointment will normally be made on fixed-term contract basis initially for up to three years, which may be extended or renewed subject to performance and mutual agreement, with the possibility of conversion to continuous appointment terms.
