Clinical Program Coordinator RN in Quality Assurance Unit at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.

The Coordinator is accountable for the overall management, leadership, and direction of the clinical and operational activities of the Sepsis program in accordance with Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s Mission and Core Values. The Coordinator will work to create an environment that fosters a multidisciplinary team and collaborative approach to care, treatment and follow-up that achieves operational and clinical “Best Practice.” The Coordinator works with department directors and oversees the daily operations of the Sepsis program; assisting nursing, medical and ancillary staff in providing quality care outcomes for the care of patients with sepsis. The Coordinator sustains excellent performance and tracks and reports impact of sepsis care delivery on patients’ quality of life; always striving to improve, in partnership with all departments. They will also support efforts in error reduction, physician and nurse enrichment/satisfaction, length of stay measures and patient care resource management. Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years of Inpatient clinical nursing practice or 2 years of Inpatient clinical nursing practice if candidate possesses a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialty training as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), or Nursing Education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a program coordinator, nursing leadership position or educator.
