This position participates in a variety of projects with company-wide impact related to DaVita’s patient care/clinical processes. The Clinical Programs Manager supports the development and delivery of clinical programs to improve patient outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting anemia and formulary initiatives within the scope of Pharma Ops Support Services.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree in Nursing, or qualifying sciences equivalent for Registered Nurse eligibility required
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience required
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams required
  • Proficient with DaVita Dialysis computer systems required
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Registered Nurse with valid state licensure required
  • Travel up to 10%
Responsibilities
  • Support in the development and implementation of clinical initiatives, as assigned by the Manager, Clinical Improvement
  • Utilize clinical performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collect and provide feedback to assist with improvement and standardization of process
  • Participate in clinical pilots
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on progress for measures of success
  • Assist with the creation and updating of job aids and other collaterals, as applicable
  • Perform all duties of the CAM within assigned facility(s) (refer to Centralized Anemia Manager job description)
  • Provide support and collaboration to drive results for the Clinical Pharmacy Management program, such as formulary exception SME escalations, prior authorization processes, and clinical outlier management
  • Serve as clinical subject matter expert for anemia management, providing support to the Centralized Anemia Managers (CAM) and Facility Anemia Managers (FAM)
  • Other duties as assigned.
