DESCRIPTION
Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist to join the team on the CAMHS Eating Disorder ward. This is a full time/37.5 Hour role.
We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
To plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group treatments, informed by formulations of patients’ problems based on appropriate theoretical and therapeutic models and best practice guidelines.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Essential requirements for the role include registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist and experience or a strong interest in working with young people with eating disorders. Desirable qualifications include clinical supervision training and training in two or more distinct psychological therapies. Candidates should also possess skills in individual and group work, program planning, and the use of complex psychological assessment methods to inform formulation and intervention. Additionally, well-developed verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to convey complex, technical, and clinically sensitive information effectively.
