We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Associate to join our team and help us continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Associate at Kindful Psychology, you will provide individual and group therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to their unique needs, as well as conducting psychodiagnostic assessments.
In addition to clinical work, you will play a key role in providing clinical supervision to social work and registered psychotherapist clinical associates, supporting their professional development and ensuring high-quality care for our clients.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population and collaborate with a supportive team of mental health professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) or Masters degree (MA) in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists and Applied Behavioural Analysts of Ontario as a registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to trainees and clinicians from other mental health disciplines (social workers and registered psychotherapists).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive care to diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
  • Provide services for clients under third party agencies including WSIB, Veterans Affairs, NIHB, and IRS.
  • Manage a caseload of individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities.
  • Provide clinical supervision for other clinicians and professionals to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Uphold the values and mission of Kindful Psychology in all client interactions and professional activities.
