Vesa Health & Technology is seeking a Psychologist to provide assessments for atomic scientists and other high level professionals seeking a top tier security clearance and employment with a federal agency based out of Idaho Falls, ID.

The government agency will also provide a security clearance for (you) the psychologist which is a huge benefit as well!

Position offers:

• Flexibile schedule
• Opportunity for supplemental income
• Flat rate for screening/assessment. If (at your discretion) testing is required that is an additional flat rate paid.
• Referral based so you can accept or decline referrals. It is expected you will receive the opportunity for about 12-14 referrals annually.

Qualifications. The provider shall possess and maintain for the duration of this agreement::

• Must have graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology or a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) degree from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school.
• A current unrestricted active license to practice Psychology
• A minimum of at least two (2) years of clinical experience as a Psychologist
• A “no unfavorable information on file” rating with the National Practitioners Data Bank (NPDB).

Professional Services.

• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments utilizing clinical interview techniques, mental status examination, collection of history from collaborative sources, psychometric screening tools and psychological testing
• Prepare report and recommendation to government authority
• Possibly will need to attend hearing. In rare cases.
• Reviews, clinical evaluations/ testing, final reports, formal testimonies, and other related special requests, as needed.
• The services are used by DOE in determining an individual’s eligibility or continued eligibility for a DOE access authorization as a * security clearance”.
• Evaluations in person are not required unless there are special circumstances that would permit having to have an in-person evaluation. Evaluations can be done through telehealth.
