The Cognitive Brain Health Lab at Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is seeking an energetic and experienced individual for a full-time Clinical Research Assistant position under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Rabin. The successful candidate will join a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of researchers in a dynamic and collegial environment.
The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline, combined with prior research experience. A Masters an asset. This position is well-suited for individuals interested in gaining research experience prior to graduate school or medical school, as there will be opportunities to contribute to conference abstracts and manuscripts.
The candidate will join a vibrant team of research faculty and clinician scientists at SRI. The candidate will work on studies examining risk factors for dementia as well as studies in the Harquail Centre for Neuromodulation (HCN). The HCN investigates invasive and non-invasive neuromodulation treatments, such as deep brain stimulation, focused ultrasound, and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for difficult-to-treat brain disorders, including refractory major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Alzheimer’s disease.
