ABOUT US:

The Children’s Cancer Centre, is located within Monash Children’s Hospital, and aims to provide exemplary care for our paediatric oncology and haematology cohort. The clinical trials team within the centre focuses on providing these patients with a broad range of treatment options through a variety of domestic and international clinical trials and research projects. The Children’s Cancer Centre is involved in a diverse range of research, including; randomised controlled trials, patient registries, biological studies and an established biobank.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join our team as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) on a part time (2 days per week), fixed term (until 30th June 2026), to work at Monash Children’s Hospital based in Clayton.
The CRA will work closely with other Clinical Research Associates and Nurses, Lead Clinical Trial Coordinator, and ward staff, to ensure the provision of clinical trials for patients with paediatric oncology central nervous system tumours. The CRA will play an integral role in participant management, ensuring the rigorous collection and reporting of data, and sample management.

Mandatory requirements of the role:

  • Undergraduate degree in Nursing/Medical Science/other relevant specialities
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical research
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/ICH Guidelines, with current GCP qualification
  • Clinical trial or research related postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not mandator
