Job Description On-Call Clinical Research Consultant oversees the clinical research of consumer products involving healthy paid volunteers. Develops research studies and creates standards and guidelines for clinical research services and programs. Ensures adherence to standard operating procedures, good clinical practice and FDA regulations. JOB FUNCTIONS Provide professional conduct, supervision and management of studies and investigations in all phases from procurement to completion of delivery of report. Participate in investigation/pre-study/post-study meetings, study related training exercises, monitoring visits, wrap-up meetings with sponsor and audits conducted by sponsors and regulatory agencies. Review adverse event forms and subject medical records and provide a medical opinion to the SGS representative and/or sponsor. Provides reasonable medical care for any medical problems that are related to the research. Possesses knowledge and complies with applicable FDA / Governmental / International regulations. Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
