Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for a trusted partner in clinical development located in Newport Beach, California (CA). The Clinical Research Coordinator would ideally have hands-on phlebotomy experience in a clinical site network environment and their CA Phlebotomy certification. This position will sit on-site in Newport Beach, CA.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Coordinator:

  • Support screening and eligibility review of study participants with the trial investigator.
  • Maintain accurate case report forms, charts, and study documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to clinical research coordinators and assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols, regulations, and standards.
  • Assist with data collection, entry, and study lifecycle activities (start-up to close-out).
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding processes, including candidate shadowing.

Qualifications for the Clinical Research Coordinator:

  • 2+ years of clinical research coordination experience.
  • Phlebotomy certification/license in California.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex protocols and multitask effectively.
  • GCP Certification and Advanced CRC training preferred.
  • Knowledge of CFR and HIPAA guidelines; detail-oriented and confidential.
