Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Clinical Research Fellow will support the recruitment, assessment and participant visits in a controlled trial designed to evaluate new approaches to the diagnosis and management of food allergy in children. The Fellow will also support other research activities within the Children’s Clinical Research Facility at Imperial’s Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) and be based in the dynamic research group of Prof Paul Turner and Dr Nandinee Patel.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

In addition to learning the ropes of clinical trials research, you will be point-of-contact for families taking part in our controlled trials evaluating immunotherapy in children/young people with food allergy. This will include exposure to high-risk food challenges, managing acute anaphylaxis and covering updosing visits.
