Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow at ST6 level to join the Section of Metabolic Medicine, in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction at Imperial College London working with Professor Nick Oliver.
This post is funded through the Wynn endowment. A Clinical Research Fellow is sought to conduct clinical research and to support the research programme the longitudinal metabolic effects of interventions for people with, and without, diabetes. The project will cover both clinical and data-based work utilising the Wynn and ADDRESS-2 datasets, as well as working directly on diabetes technology studies to generate new data.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

The post holder will hold an honorary clinical contract with the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and will be expected to take clinical responsibilities appropriate to their level of experience and expertise. You will be expected to design, conduct, evaluate and supervise clinical and data-based research independently, attend meetings and report progress on the project, (written and oral) both within Imperial and externally.
