Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The post holder will support and lead the clinical development of novel vaccine candidates, contributing to both industry- and investigator-led early-phase trials aimed at preventing and controlling infectious diseases. The focus will be on mRNA vaccine safety and efficacy, trial design and conduct, and research into immune-biology.
Working under Professor Marta Boffito and Professor Robin Shattock, the Clinical Vaccinology Fellow will ensure studies meet ethical and regulatory standards. There will be opportunities to present at national and international conferences, contribute to publications, and potentially work toward a higher degree (MD or PhD).
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated physician to develop expertise in clinical research and vaccine development, and make a meaningful impact in the field of vaccinology.
